Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School in Limerick city, a Member School of Sanctuary, had a very special visit from the RTÉ news2day team on World Refugee Day (June 20th). Miss Histon’s 4th class and some 5th class students spoke to the presenter Reem El-Hassany about why they want to be kind and helpful to refugees and they were so impressive in their knowledge and confidence!
The school also had a special visit from a Sanctuary Ambassador, Khatera Samim, who moved to Ireland from Afghanistan.
